School Within A College (SWAC)

In partnership with Fleming College, the School Within a College program offers a college learning environment for senior secondary school students within the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.

Located at Fleming’s Sutherland Campus location, SWAC is designed for students requiring a minimal number of credits to graduate and who want a more comfortable transition to college. 

SWAC students work with a secondary teacher to complete a variety of OSSD credits, including a dual credit course. They attend classes on campus throughout the regular school week schedule. 

Students interested in SWAC must contact the Guidance Department at their home schools in order to be referred to the SWAC program.
