Nutrition
School Nutrition/Food Program:
Eating a well-balanced diet is a critical part of being successful in school. At PACE we have several programs and partners that help to ensure that no one at PACE is hungry when they want to learn. PACE offers the following food programs:
- The Breakfast Program - snacks available daily outside Room 108
- Friday Hot Lunch - hot meal prepared & served by the Foods classroom teacher & students
Need assistance with food support?
At our school, we recognize that good nutrition is foundational to being ready to learn. By supporting access to food and nutrition through various programs, we empower students to focus, engage, and thrive—whether they’re returning to education or forging a new path forward.
Food Resources
Many families in Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board experience food insecurity. There are several resources available within our communities, such as Food Banks and Free/Low-cost Meals.
