Education Week at KPR!

Education Week from May 4th-8th is an intentional time to celebrate and recognize the amazing people who make KPR such an amazing place to learn and work. Together, we're inspiring excellence in learning, success in life and enriching our communities #WeAreKPR

Canadian Mental Health Week

This Mental Health Week, we’re taking time to reflect on the importance of mental health and well-being in our schools and workplaces. Connection is a powerful support for mental health, especially for children and youth. Schools and classrooms play a key role in building belonging, empathy, and care through everyday moments like meaningful conversations, group activities, and simple acts of kindness.

This week and every week, let’s check in on one another, show compassion, and help create spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and connected. #WeAreKPR

National Day of Awareness for MMIWG2S

May 5 is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People. On this day, we aim to raise awareness about this ongoing crisis and take action. We remember the people who have lost their lives to colonial, gender-based violence, and the families and communities that live daily with the grief of losing loved ones.

May is Speech and Hearing Month

We celebrate the vital role of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) in helping KPR students learn and communicate in many different ways!
